In the forthcoming film Taare Zamin Par , Aamir khan has given his voice in one song. He is also in lead role in the film as well as director of the film. Although he is not a professional singer but according to the music director of the film Shankar, his voice suits the song very well.
Kangana Ranaut will play the lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion‘. This film is based on the life of model Gitanjali Nagpal who was found on the street of Delhi in mentally challenged status. Priyanka Chopra and Mughda Godse are other casts of the film.
Madhur, who is famous for his national award winning film Chandni Bar decided to cast Kangana for the role after going through the photographs of Gitanjali. Kangana who has always experimented with her look to get into the skin of the character, will chop her curly hair off this time. Earlier for the film ‘Woh Lamhe’, in which she had played the role of Parveen Bobby, she has straightened her hair.

In his third offering as a director Anurag Kashyap brings out a movie which probes into the unpleasantness of city slickers. The movie though created a lot of buzz around itself, but failed to make a strong impression on its audiences in its opening day. No Smoking is about a chain smoker’s effort to bid adieu to smoking. The movie revolves around K (John Abraham) a rich and powerful chain-smoking businessman’s effort to quit smoking after his lady love, his wife(Ayesha Takia) threatens to abandon him.
K’s friend Abbas(Ranveer Shourie) who had introduced him to the butt, packs him off to an underground rehab center run by the viciously alive Baba Bengali Sealdahwala (Paresh Rawal) whose ideas of reform are different from the usual “twelve steps” program. The movie is set in three places across the world namely India, Azerbaijan and Russia.
