Aamir Khan is all set to a produce a psychological thriller flick by which he is believed to have been captivated. The flick titled ‘Seven Hours’ is about the span of seven hours in the life of the characters.

For many who think that Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice for ‘Chak De India’ here is an interesting piece of news for Salman Khan was Aditya Chopra’s first choice. We wonder what made Sallu decline the project.

There are speculations behind the prior release of the flick, for the producers are trying to bank upon the ongoing school half-term holiday in the UK. Smart move indeed!

For the first time, Bollywood’s music director and singer A.R. Rahman, the United Nations and Endemol have teamed up for a soon to be launched Hindi general entertainment channel, 9X, for an exclusive entertaining musical show.

The show titled ‘Mission Ustaad’, will feature Rahman and some of the best singers and entertainers, who will enchant you with their heart taking compositions, all for a cause. Wow!

Eros International, the leading entertainment company has announced the global release of ‘Dus Kahaniyaan’ on November 23, 2007.

‘Dus Kahaniyaan’, Bollywood’s first unconventional experiment is an anthology of Indian film comprising of ten short films telling ten different stories which are each directed by a host of seven, highly acclaimed directors like Apoorva Lakhia, Meghna Gulzar, Sanjay Gupta, Hansal Mehta, Jasmeet Dhodi, Sudhir Mishra and Shyam Benegal.

Regarding the plot, Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ based on reincarnation, revolves around a struggling actor, played by Shah Rukh Khan, who falls in love with a successful actress played by Deepika Padokone.

Salman Khan is not only the hot favorite among youngsters, but has a huge kiddo following as well. Keeping in mind this star status of Sallu, Aneeez Bazmi (’No Entry’ fame) has roped him to play Tarzan in a flick dedicated to children.

Sanjay Dutt convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case surrendered on receiving a copy of the judgement from a TADA Court yesterday. He was sent to Arthur Road jail in central Mumbai.

Dutt has been sentenced to six years rigorous imprisonment under the Arms Act for illegal possession of an AK-56 assault rifle and a pistol.

As movie lovers wait for this year’s most awaited movies ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’, production company Eros International and Hollywood’s Sony Pictures are still fighting it out to grab staggering 800-odd single screens in the country. However, same cannot be said about the multiplexes.

Point to be noted here is that recently both companies announced collaboration according to which, Eros International and Sony Pictures will co-invest in Hindi movies.

There has been a cold war between the two though, no love seems to have been lost between the two actresses.

Shabana is known for openly being critical of Rekha’s dialogues and performances. The extent was noticed even in hubby Javed Akhtar when he commented that he never felt Rekha was a great actress and her best performance was only in Krrish in recent times.
