There have been immense speculations and rumors about the film ‘Gandhi my Father‘. 
The basically uncommon plot that tried to dive down the life of Mahatma Gandhi to explore the relationship between him and his eldest son Harilal has been under strong observation. This will be first movie that will dissect the family life of Gandhi and will try to answer a very basic question. How can one’s standing can create chaos in his family, where as the same thoughts of him can be of tremendous help in building an entire nation.
While almost all eyes set up on 3rd August, the date when this movie is to be released, Anil Kapoor, the producer of this movie came along with explanations why he chose this film as his debut film as a producer. He was said to have loved the script at the very moment he heard it. He always chose films that he found of great potential as actor, and now he wants to choose the same way as producer, he confirms in a press meeting. While talking about the controversies around the movie he said,
I come from a family of fearless filmmakers. When I worked with Mani Ratnam, Vinod Chopra and Shekhar Kapoor they were not the names that they later became. I chose them on the basis of the script. I’ve the same gut feeling about Feroz. He’ll make a very special niche for himself

With many years in bollywood and having created a solid platform under his feet, it is time for experiments, and to invest in some different kind of films. ‘Gandhi my Father‘ has already created a craze in all over India. Firstly this movie deals with the shades of the life of Mahatma Gandhi that were untouched till now, and that has created an unusual fondness about the movie. The quality acting of Akshaye Khanna and others will definitely help the movie to be accepted by viewers all over the country.
