Madame Tussauds, London, is all set to witness a dazzling Bollywood splash early next year again. After the unveiling of Shah Rukh Khan’s wax figure last Easter, the heads at the wax museum have just short listed tinsel town celebrities for their next wax figure. The list encapsulates all time hot favourites Madhuri Dixit, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Salman Khan, Lata Mangeshkar, Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Kajol and John Abraham. This time the public has been involved to select their most popular celebrity, through online voting and place him or her next to Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan.

The list has already sent a bellow among celebrities. In circles where it really matters, the buzz is that Abhishek Bachchan stands a good chance of making it, as it will make the Bachchan family almost complete. Obviously, Abhishek and Ash have been making strategic appearances at international film fests and other Indian festivals in the US. But apart from being Junior Bachchan and having married the most beautiful women of the world (Aishwarya), I think Abhi has nothing to his credit. Karan Johar is the only filmmaker who has made it to the list. He says:

I have heard about the shortlist and it’s such an honor. It feels great just being considered for a wax figure.

Bollywood fans can cast their vote on the official website of Madame Tussauds till August 31. I think this would have to be the most sensible voting ever from Bollywood crazy fans as the world is watching. As far as our Bollywood stars are concerned, they can only pray to become a part of the Tussauds stars of constellation!
