For the Yeh Ishq track from Jab We Met, shot with 180 Himachali dancers in Manali and the Rohtang Pass director Imtiaz Ali was eager to sign first rate choreographer Saroj Khan.
Saroj ji was busy those days, therefore the search for an alternative began. Fortunately, the crew discovered that Saroj ji was also shooting in Manali but for some another film.
Imtiaz met her instantly and requested her to choreograph Yeh Ishq, to which she finally agreed.
On the other hand the student of Saroj Khan, Kareena was nervous when she heard that Saro ji accepted the offer.
Now, Saroj ji the hard taskmaster (who doesn’t take kindly to actors’ mistakes while dancing) would be on the sets for four whole days to choreograph the number.
But once the shoot started, everything happened smoothly, and both Kareena and Saroj ji greatly enjoyed working together once again!
