Vidya’s launch pad movie Parineeta established her traditional Indian Woman Image and Lage Raho Munnabhai didn’t spice up Vidya’s plain Jane image as well. Vidya is donning glamorous look for the first time in the movie.
Manish Malhotra has presented Vidya in dazzling yet graceful costumes in the movie and Vidya has readily slipped from her Sarees to startling drapes.

It’s a different kind of role and a film. It is different from the kind of stuff I have been doing. It is my first glamorous look. Manish Malhotra is known to create magic with his heroines. I feel he has given me a different look and I hope it works for me.
Besides looks, Vidya is also shifting in her movie genre by Heyy Babyy, from somber to humor. Vidya is experimenting with her image and that’s good for an Actor.
