After her sizzling performance in Aksar, Udita Goswami is about to put the screen ablaze with her upcoming film ‘Aggar’, with Tushar Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade. The theme is how a simple mistake can ruin one’s entire life. Udita is playing Janvi, a woman running a thriving business and married to a psychiatrist (Talpade). In one weak moment she finds her entrapped in the arms of an outsider Aryan (Tushar Kapoor). Pretty soon she discovers she is with wrong company and somehow wants to come out of the bond. However, getting involved was much easier than moving out of the passionate relationship. Aryan becomes possessive about her and the relationship endangers the life of Talpade. In a stunning thriller the director has put all his efforts to make it a big success.
It is like a comeback stunt for Udita. She was not quite seen in the big screen for quite a long time.
She got the opportunity and it looks like she has grabbed it with open arms and is all set to soar the temperature very high. Electrifying passion, betrayal, and seduction; these are three catch lines of this movie. With Udita on board we can expect some electrifying sequences that will set the screen into fire. After Aksar she was not seen for quite a long time and it was supposed that she was into exile. She is about to come back to prove she is still there, as beautiful and charming as ever. With Shreyas Talpade and Tushar Kapoor with her she is surely to set a new trend in Bollywood. With all post production works in progress, the movie is to release by the end of August 2007.
Thrillers are not very uncommon in Bollywood. However the quality and originality of them are always put in doubt. Most of them were inspired from foreign movies, and some are mare remakes. We have to wait for some times to find out about Aggar. But the theme sounds common. Passion and extra marital affair leading towards endangering one’s married life, has been the hot topic for quite a few times. Time will tell whether Aggar will also simply add another name in the trend, or will set a trend to continue. Whatever, with Udita, the movie is undoubtedly going to be an attractive eye candy for sure.
