Star parivar’s much-reckoned bahu Tulsi is destined to die as far as the soap is concerned. And the fateful day deciding Tulsi’s future comes today. The episode to be telecast on Star Plus on Wednesday at 10.30 p.m will mean the end of the beloved bahu of Virani parivar.

And with this episode, Smriti Irani (Tulsi) will bid adieu to India’s favorite soap opera, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

To sum up the latest proceedings of the episode, Tulsi is currently locked in an asylum, thanks to her grandson Eklavya and her three daughter-in laws, Tanya, Tripti and Damini. Her attempt to run away through a tunnel fail as the greedy doctor, who has been bribed by Tulsi’s daughter-in -laws, gets hold of her.

However, the never say die attitude of Tulsi instills in her the confidence to get out of the asylum posing as a dead body. This time she finds herself lucky and she manages to escape. But, destiny has something else in store for her as a drunk driver is driving the truck in which she hides herself.

Unfortunately, the truck goes down in the valley and blasts. Burnt parts of the truck are hauled out of the valley with it bringing the burnt bodies. Meanwhile the asylum doctor and his staff find Tulsi’s asylum tag at the accident spot and inform Tanya about the mishap. With this will begin the ending of a character that has ruled Indian small screen, for that matter Star Plus for over seven years.

It is also assumed that the character would return back as in all Balaji soaps. But, this time it will be a new face and not the Tulsi we are familiar with. Who is the new face of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and how will the Indian audience recognize with her remains to be seen.

On the whole, Indian viewers would be hoping of a comeback of their favorite bahu, Smriti Irani.
