After our Bollywood babe Shilpa Shetty rocked in UK with her musical stage debut ‘Miss Bollywood’, the opening shows of the same in Berlin were disappointing.
The error was definitely not because of her performance, but because of delays and technical faults.
A number of mismanagement incidents occurred beginning with the misplacing of thirty five bags containing costumes and accessories by the airline resulting in the delay of media preview of the show in Admirals palast theatre, Berlin.
And later, when a defect in the playback machine was discovered which forced the two-hour programme to be curtailed to an hour.
The shows on October 1st and 2nd had to be canceled and another preview was held on October 3. To save themselves from the embarrassment the producers gave away two tickets free for every ticket of the canceled shows so that the opening night on October 4 witnessed a full house.
But apart from all the inconvenience caused the audiences loved Shilpa’s dance skills and Ganesh Hegde’s amazing choreography.
Well, the management really needs to put on their extra watchful glasses to prevent Shilpa’s hard work going down the drain.
