The 'Golmaal' fame director Rohit Shetty is all set to bang the silver screen again with his new venture 'Sunday,' a thriller this time, slated for release this October. Written by Rohit Bhatt the movie has a huge star cast with Ajay Devjan, Ayesha Takia, Anjana Shuklani, Irrfan Khan and Arshad Varsi playing the lead roles. Irrfan Khan is reported to be supporting various get ups for the movie; he plays an NSD actor struggling his way into bollywood.

While shooting for Sunday, Shetty had to shift the film's shooting location from Mumbai to Hyderabad when the rains played killjoy recently. Reportedly 600 people were taken to Hyderabad. Rohit says:
Yes, it was pretty awful. Thankfully, we were saved in the nick of time. I know that brining 600 people from Mumbai to Hyderabad turned out to be very expensive. But we were left with no choice. Ajay Devgan was to shoot for that song but now he will be joining us here only on Wednesday.

The movie has been titled Sunday as the main events that make up the story take place on a particular Sunday. Along with the huge star cast, what is expected to be an audience puller are the two item songs which are anticipated to turn the floor scorching. To add a cherry to the cake, Shetty has roped in Esha Deol and Tusshar Kapoor for their first ever item numbers here. Tusshar will be seen performing on UK singer Raaghav's tunes while Shibani Kashyab will give voice to Esha's song 'Kya Kashmakash Hai' choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.
It seems that both the actors have taken the route to success through dancing for which their parents have created a hallmark in the industry. The sires of these bollywood stars colloquially called the 'Jumping Jack' and 'Dream Girl' hopefully would help the two with some moves to sizzle their respective numbers. The dancing diva, Deol, can also be spotted flaunting her new tattoo 'Om' in the song. Tusshar dances with a group of 12,000 dancers at the sets in Filmistan while Esha will be dancing with 800 dancers where 30 will be flown down from abroad. Quite a wait to watch!
