Shah Rukh Khan after four months of hard work has opted out of South director Shanker’s thriller ‘Robot’. Earlier SRK was to produce the film through his Red Chillies Entertainment and also play the lead in it as a super hero.
He explains:
We were not happy with few things, among them being the fact that his take on the film was completely different from mine. It was amicably done and there is no bad blood.
Having earned a lot of time as a result of his pulling out of ‘Robot’ SRK is utilizing this valuable period socializing. He recently played host to the business tycoon Mr. Mittal, who dropped at Khan’s residence for a cup of tea after they met in a party.
Well, I’m sure SRK really has no regrets, backing out from a project while he gains on the personal level. But as far as the SRK fans are concerned they will have to wait for quite some time now to see their favorite actor next on silver screen as SRK will now star next in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 2′ which will go on the floors in 2008.
