Shirish likely to revive 'Prince of India'

Shirish Kunder has been in the news lately for many a reasons -- be it his mis-behavior in the recent 'Om Shanti Om' party or his confirmation of Akshay Kumar for the lead role of superhero movie Joker. This time, the editor-director hits headlines with the intention to revive his once planned debut with a movie named Prince of India. Shirish whose debut Jaanemann did not bring much ado for the director even with stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

Reports have it that Shirish wanted to make his directorial debut with an epic movie called Prince of India which did not likely happen. But after seeing promos of Hrithik Roshan in Jodha-Akbar Shirish has all plans to materialize his once dream debut starring Hrithik himself in it. All these while Shirish was unable to find a suitable prince for the lead role.

The promos of 'Jodha-Akbar' has brought Shirish's eyes on Hrithik and he claims that the superstar will be the perfect prince for his future film.

But, the question in everyone mind would be will Hrithik accept yet another epic role. Sources though reveal that Hrithik seems to be equally keen in working with Shirish in yet another epic movie and reports have it that the actor and director are meeting regularly and discussing the movie in detail. News has it that Prince of India will be Shirish's next after Joker where Akshay has bagged himself with the coveted superhero role in the latter movie.

Shirish seems to be wanting to revolutionize the Industry with his efforts with use of advanced visual effects in 'Joker'. The director plans to continue the effect and impact of FX in his future film Prince of India as well. Matching up to the Hollywood standards will surely be one of the biggest challenges the director will be facing.

He has definitely set a tall order for himself, but only the ultimate product will prove if his efforts are worth applauding
