Last few months have seen Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s career surge from slump, thanks to the Big Brother Show. On June 8, she celebrated her 32nd birthday with a shine in her eyes, as she gears up to set the Western world ablaze. She has time to launch of new perfume, a new restaurant in London, but no time for Bollywood.

Ecstatic as she is after her success in Big Brother, she is gearing for a career in the West. She says that she is so obsessed with the launch of some brands in London that she cannot devote any time to Bollywood.
Shilpa faced racial outrage from Jade Guddy, the one incident that gave the lighting touch to her career. Since then, she has been hogging the limelight. Even the kissing drama with Richard Gere, brought her fame.
The saying, Fortune favors the brave, suits Shilpa who boldly faced the accusations and came out with flying colors. Since then she has accumulated a lot of fans and become a regular face of UK tabloids.
Now she is in Yorkshire to perform at the IIFA awards due on Saturday. She is also busy at promoting her new film Apne that stars Sunny and Bobby Deol with their father Dharmendra. The awards ceremony will see the screening of the same.
She will also star in a musical album, which is called Bollywood to Broadway, and which will go on the road in November.
Moreover, she has plans to start her own restaurant in the UK in Central London, which will serve authentic Indian food.
Luck is clearly on her side.
