Shilpa Shetty humiliated by immigration officials!

Wednesday morning brought some repulsive and embarrassing moments for Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty at the international airport in Mumbai when an immigration official allegedly spoke brusquely to her just before when she was leaving for Germany for West End musical Miss Bollywood.

Her representative, Dale Bhagwagar asserted,

The immigration authorities at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport just seemed to refuse to take note of this clearance of Shilpa's name by the Supreme Court.

She called me in the middle of the night and was in tears saying an inspector had treated her badly.

It is noteworthy that the actor already kicked off a controversy a few months ago when Hollywood star Richard Gere kissed her publically at an AIDS awareness event in New Delhi.

However, a court in Alwar district of Rajasthan also issued a 'look-out notice' for Shilpa at various airports and according to the notice Shilpa was also barred to leave the country till the time Richard Gere-Shilpa Shetty case is over.

But, the actor appealed to the Supreme Court against this order, and the head court overturned the order of Alwar court and gave her permission to travel abroad.

The huge crowd gathered around at the airport to watch her arguments with the immigration personnel must have added fuel to Shilpa's embarrassment.

Now, Shilpa is planning to take action against the immigration authorities' offensive behavior.
