The controversy over alleged racism towards Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty hurled at her on a British reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother, has taken a new turn. On Wednesday, the actress admitted that she was the victim of racial slurs, but now she has changed her mind and withdrew an accusation that she was the victim of racism.

In a clip from Thursday evening's show, released by broadcaster Channel Four, she said she had changed her mind.
She said,
I take that back. I thought it was because everybody was having an argument with me ... I don't think that is true. People say things in a fit of anger.I don't feel that there was any racial discrimination happening from Jade's end ... I think there are a lot of insecurities from her end, but it's definitely not racial.
The number of complaints by British television regulators and broadcaster Channel Four rose to 30,000. The bad conduct towards Shilpa has sparked the political incidents regarding concerns of British and Indian governments. Even Celebrity Big Brother's biggest sponsor Carphone Warehouse also suspended its sponsorship.
