Bollywood’s scandalous actor Salman Khan will today appear before the principal bench of the Rajasthan High Court in connection with the 1998 chinkara poaching case.

Salman, who was released on bail on August 31, will attend the hearing on his review petition challenging the Jodhpur District and Session Court’s five years imprisonment judgment. Salman was convicted on April 10, 2006. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on him.

According to the prosecution, Salman had killed a Chinkara (deer) in the Ghoda Farm area on September 28, 1998.

Whereas, Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan, Satish Shah, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari have been set free from the case.
