Bollywood actor Salman Khan took a sigh of relief after he appeared before the Rajasthan High Court in connection with the chinkara poaching case yesterday. The actor's case has now been referred to judicial backlog, which means it will now be taken up in routine course.

As a result, Sallu is now expected to stay away from the court's proceedings for the next five to eight years.

Salman's lawyer H M Saraswat said:

The high court will now hear his case in due course and he need not mark his presence before it till his turn comes for hearing.

Salman earlier was sentenced to five years imprisonment by the lower court and was also sent to the Jodhpur central jail in August before he received the bail from the high court.

Khan really had a close escape, we wish Sanjay Dutt too was as lucky as him!
