Salman Khan the ‘bad boy’ of Bollywood, despite of his conviction in the Chinkara hunting case and running his car over pavement dwellers is one of the hottest property of the Mumbai film industry. Sallu Mia has been offered a whopping 12 crore and other perks to act in a film of Shri Ashtavinayak.
The producers are upbeat about signing Salman for their upcoming venture. They have offered Salman a 30%stake in the film after it is released and negative rights of the film after 15 years. The film will be directed by Priyadarshan, who has also written the script of the film. Given the elaborate planning that is underway, the film is scheduled to begin sometime in 2009.
Salman has a huge fan following in India and abroad, which has made him an important revenue-generating star for the producers.
