Salman Khan: I turned down 'Chak De'!

For many who think that Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice for 'Chak De India' here is an interesting piece of news for Salman Khan was Aditya Chopra's first choice. We wonder what made Sallu decline the project.

Salman Khan laments his decision and candidly confesses the reasons that lead him to commit the faux pas.

Being evocative on the lost project Sallu said,

I had an issue with the climax of the film. Adi in fact told me that he would make this film into the biggest hit and you don't know what you are missing out on.

People have loved Chak De! And I was wrong and this is the scary bit when an actor's thinking starts going wrong. Adi has made it the same way as he narrated it to me and I am thinking how can this work dude, it can't work.

Well, though Salman regrets having committed the blunder but in vain.
