Ram Gopal Varma popular for his slick, horrific films and his proclivity for horror and gangster films recently made some most candid confessions and revelations about his work and movies.
Varma reveals in an interview that his forthcoming flick ‘Darling’ that is being tossed between as a horror film and a supernatural thriller is actually one which starts off as a romantic comedy and then becomes a thriller. Later it turns out to be a horror film and then again a comedy. Finally, it ends up as an extremely emotional and serious relationship. I think this information would really help the audience to keep a track on the staggering script!

RGV further confesses that his ability, to communicate with his actors to produce the desired results, does not refrain him from experimenting with actors who are not so established or popular in the industry. He quotes the same reason for having casted Esha Deol and Fradeen Khan who are not considered as accomplished actors in the Bollywood industry. But Varma takes a different stance on the ongoing plagiarism in the tinsel town. He says:
I believe I have copied ‘Godfather’ in ‘Sarkar’ in my view because if ‘Godfather’ was not made ‘Sarkar’ wouldn’t have been made. But obviously when I set it in a different situation and time like in Mumbai politics the nature would be different. It’s the same thing with ‘Aag‘. I am not doing a remake of ‘Sholay’ but it is an interpretation of the same thing and yet put in a different time period.
Well, with his two most awaited projects, ‘Darling’ and ‘RGV ki Aag’, waiting to hit the screens, let us see whether RGV’s honesty pays him well or not!
