Abhishek-Rani disappointed gossipmongers when the duo got back to old bonhomie
On the sets of laga chunari mein daag. Rani, who was disappointed after the Bachchans didn’t invite her to the splendid Ash-Abhishek wedding, was not expected to give the issue a go by. But the body language of both the actors during the shoot was very amicable.
“How can there be?” asks a close friend of the two stars.
Rani and Abhishek have done four films as a lead pair, all hits. They’re seen as the Amitabh-Jaya of the new millennium. They’re so comfortable with each other.
Rani was reported to be upset after being left out from the guest’s list (and the much hyped Abhishek effected heart-break too!). But the ice broke between the two as soon as they met.
Nothing about Abhishek has changed after marriage. He’s still a major prankster. When Rani realised this, she immediately dropped her defences.
Rani who has acted with both father and son, is an on-screen impetus to the whole-some chemistry, with the both. The Bachchans have always recognized Rani’s acting exploits and Rani considers Bachchans as her extended family too.
Abhishek said in an interview earlier this year:
In her company, acting becomes a pleasure and a joy. That’s why both Pa and I could do the most difficult roles. She makes the atmosphere on the sets so relaxed.
The actors meanwhile, have done the mending effort which is a good sign for their forthcoming projects. For audiences, however, it’s a win-win situation.
