Ram Gopal Verma’s Time Machine may finally survive. Earlier he has tied up Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor for this movie, but the entire project was scrapped just after announcement. He was found saying in press interviews
The kind of cinema I make is incompatible with Shah Rukh’s image. I know he has a huge fan following among children and women who love his kind of films. And the film I planned is completely opposite of the image he has amongst his fans. I would be a total mismatch with Shah Rukh
But recently there has been a ray of hope for Ramu after he narrated the script to Abhishek Bachchan in the sets of Sarkar 2. Junior Bachchan was quite excited to be in the project. After him, Aishwarya also agreed to replace Kareena, and Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan also agreed to share screen in time machine.
So, Ramu has a sigh of relief, finally? He has been checking the possibilities of time machine for quite a long time, but after his split with Shahrukh, he was quite unsure on whether he will ever be able to complete the movie or not. Thanks to the cold war between Shahrukh and Bachchan family, now he has a whole lot of crowd pullers together in his project. The entire Bachchan family that could be the last thing he ever imagined to have together in his project.
Ram Gopal Verma is recently being seen in the shelter of Amitabh Bachchan. His fondness increased after he saw huge success in Sarkar. If rumors are to believe, he is doing ‘Ram Gopal Verma ki Aag’ just to pay his tribute to Big B, who wanted to play the role of Gabbar Singh throughout his entire career. Now he got the reward of his loyalty. The entire Bachchan family is all set to perform in Time Machine.
If Ramu is to believe, this is going to be a completely different kind of movie altogether. Let’s hope they do justice together to see the movie through. Whatever be the reason, having the entire Bachchan family in a single movie can be worth of all the troubles he has faced with Shahrukh Khan earlier with the same project. If everything goes according to the plan, the production of the movie is about to start by early 2008.
