Rakhi Sawant has been popular as an item girl and sex symbol in the industry, but now she is on her way to prove that behind the 'revealing' outfits lounges an aspiring actor. The lady has finally set her foot in the tinsel town with a big banner, none other than the Roshan's. Rakhi is reported to have been signed in by Rakesh Roshan for his upcoming flick 'Crazy Four' opposite Arshad Warsi and Irrfan Khan. However, Sawant hesitates to reveal much about her new venture. She says:

At last I have overcome all odds and made it. I will be seen with a well-known name. I have started shooting. You will know all soon. The film is being directed by Jaideep Sen.
Rakhi is also looking forward to the release of Rahul Rawail's 'Buddha Mar Gaya' where she will share screen space with veteran actors such as Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Prem Chopra and Anupam Kher. In this film she plays a bold girl who sets out to destroy old men lusting after young women. She also added:
I will sign only big banner movies from now on. I am open to all types of roles as I am a good actress and I can perform any role with ease.
The actor also stressed the fact that it was her stubborn attitude towards her ideals and values that refrained her from becoming a top heroine today. She here mentions that:
My role is quite different from my real personality. In the film I am made to wear revealing clothes, whereas in real life I refuse to wear such clothes. Rahul Rawail told me it goes with the character, so I couldn't refuse. In fact, my skirt and hair got burnt in a sequence, yet I went ahead and completed the shooting.
I guess even fire could not touch something that hot. With this news Rakhi is surely creating ripples not only in the industry but in the hearts of other actresses too. Watch out!
