Priyanka kicks Hollywood project

'Don' girl Priyanka Chopra who's current pay packet is somewhere around Rs1.5 crore per flick has declined a Hollywood assignment.

She has refused to work with Ashok Amritraj's international cross-cultural love story because it's a low budget flick.

Though, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan too have kicked Hollywood assignments where they felt that they can't do justice with the character but Priyanka rejected the proposal on the basis of her own set of laws and conditions to work in movies.

During the month of July, Ashok Amritraj and Priyanka met on couple of occasions and Priyanka was requested to go over the script and to call back. However, Priyanka refuses to comment on the issue but a source close to her says:

It was basically a budget issue. Though it was an American production, the budget of Amritraj's film was half of what we spend for a fairly lavish Bollywood film like 'Krrish' or 'Drona'.

Moreover, 'Priyanka just didn't see the point in stretching herself to do this film just because it was an international project'.
