With big banner films in her pocket, Priyanka Chopra's career is climbing upwads.

And now there is another feather in the cap of the actress snatched from Urmila.

Priyanka has been roped in to play the lead role in the Hindi adaptation of Carmen, titled Chamki Chameli. The film is being produced by Sanjay Gupta, and directed by Shyam Benegal.

Earlier Urmila Matondkar was to star opposite Jimmy Shergil. A guest appearance by Sanjay Dutt is also being planned.

Priyanka and Sanjay Gupta were in ugly terms when she opted out of Musafir. But, putting the past behind, the duo is starting afresh, by working together.
