The Osian Film fest is all set to bring forth some quality films for the audiences. A main high spot will be the world premiere of Pan Nalin's new film on saturday'Valley of Flowers', which has stars like Naseeruddin Shah and Milind Soman. And the highly waited film on lord Buddha.
The festival will screen more than 100 films from 40 countries to mirror the beyond comparison variety and eclecticism in the cinemas of Asia.
The festival has this time special arrangements for school childrens as well so that they can be exposed to the best in cinema.
In the Competition section, there will be Asian as well as Indian films. Asian section will have new fangled works of filmmakers from Iraq, Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia ,Sri Lanka, Iran ,Indonesia., Saudi Arabia where as our Indian section will have 11 films, including some by Girish Kasaravalli and Santosh Sivan.
