After the success of Shootout at Lokhandwala where Apoorva was applauded for his realism and story, Mission Istanbul promises to be more eye catching with lavish stunts. It is reported that the movie will have a full fledged war sequence potraying the strife in Turkey.

Giving credit to the producer of the movie Suniel Shetty and commenting upon the movie, Apoorva said,

George Aguilar is the regular stunt director for all of Martin Scorsese's films. Getting him to do our stunts was a master-stroke, made possible because of my producer Suniel Shetty. For the war sequence the Turkish government will be providing us with helicopters, tanks and the locations. It will be filmed on a scale never seen in our cinema. The film is loosely based on all the terrorist activities that have been going on all around. If among the recent films you were to ask me to pinpoint one source of reference it'd have to be 'The Last King Of Scotland' where the incident about the toppling of Idi Amin was true. But the rest of the characters were fictional.

Cinegoers across the world may just get to witness a complete 360 degree war movie, first time churned out by Bollywood with the most lavish stunts and star cast. Apoorva will surely be hoping that Mission Istanbul lives up to his expectations and the admirers of hindi cinema will be awaiting its release for an anticipated cinematic bliss.
