Mani Ratnam has finally roped in his blue eyed boy R. Madhavan, for a parallel lead in his next Hindi flick "Guru", starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in title roles.

After casting Abhishek in the lead role in "Guru", many names including those of Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Viveik Oberoi and Madhavan were being considered.
Madhavan has already flown to London to lose weight since the role requires the actor to match his personality with Abhishek.
