There are good days and then there are some bad days too, and it seems like Bollywood is seriously going through its bad days. This very unusual...not sure if it’s a trend but whatever...it is something that Bollywood had never witnessed in such a quick notice.
Of course, I am talking about the new obsession that our favorite stars of Bollywood has developed with the legal benches. After real life kahlnayak Sanju Baba (Sanjay Dutt) came the ever-ready-to-shed-his-shirt Sallu (Salman Khan), and then came the Deol duo (Dharmendera and Sunny) and now its King Khan to face the legal action.
The Mumbai High Court on Thursday has asked Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri to file an affidavit within 14 days to explain alleged indiscretion involved in the construction of their bunglow ‘Mannat’ at Bandra, Mumbai.
The court acted on the Public Interest Litigation filed by the NGO Bhrashtachar Nirmulan Sanghatana. The PIL, filed in 2006, states that the bunglow is encroaching the main road and it should be destroyed.
Guarded by a huge high iron gate and tight security Shahrukh’s home is a beautiful palatial sea facing house. According to sources the SRK has purchased the house three -years back and he has still not transferred the house on his name. Whereas the bunglow at present is in the name of a trust called Bai Khorshed Bhanu Sanjana Trust.
Earlier ‘Mannat’ was also used to shoot flicks and many rumors are connected with the building.
In addition, flicks shot in this bungalow even got shelved which comprises an anonymous project by Aamir Khan and director Shekhar Kapoor’s sci-fi thriller Time Machine.
