'Sold'- a film dealing with the global issue of human trafficking, is part of MTV's campaign to end exploitation and our Bollywood beauty Lara Dutta is the South Asian ambassador for the cause.

This film got Lara Dutta to sit up and take notice and she wants her fans to do that as well.
According to the deeply moved Lara:
The documentary is so good that I thought that I should be a part of it and spread the awareness about human trafficking

She further added:
As you will see in the documentary that strangers are not trafficking people. It's the people that they know very well who do this. Their aunts, uncles and even brothers
The film which was a learning experience for Lara will premier on Saturday on MTV. Let us see whether Lara's calling pulls up enough strength for the crisis or not. We hope that it does!
