King Khan's wife opts for commercials

SRK's wife Gauri Khan has just signed her first brand advertisement deal. She will now appear in ads for some premium paint brand.

Gauri, is also known for designing costumes in her hubby's early flicks including Baazigar (1993). Afterwards, she changed her course and turned producer for Main Hoon Na (2004) and Om Shanti Om (2007).

Some sources reveals:

Gauri is gradually coming out of her homemaker mode. She has been successfully producing films and now she will endorse a paint brand.

Earlier too she was offered for acting assignments and advertisements.

Sources further adds:

We have always encouraged Gauri to take it up. But somehow, things didn't work out until now. Finally, she has given her assent. In fact, she flew in from Dubai last night, so that the contract could be signed today.

An inside story reveals that close friend and filmmaker, Karan Johar, who endorses the same brand, recommended Gauri's name and she was surprised when approached but after consulting Karan and Kareena Kapoor she gave her consent for the offer.
