Khans to clash during Diwali

Bollywood's very own Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan will clash at the box office this diwali second year in a row. 'Saawariya' starring Salman Khan and 'Om Shanti Om' starring the King Khan himself are set for a November 9th release which is on the day of Diwali.

2006 saw the Khan's battle it out round about the same time during the festive season. Last year Salman Khan's 'Jaan-E-Mann' lost to the competition posed by SRK's 'Don' at the box office. Though the battle will be stiff from both the movies, it is believed that both will do equally well.

Salman Khan who has recently been under some bad light for the incident of poaching will be definately aiming to strike gold at the box office with Saawariya.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said,

Shah Rukh Khan has proved himself repeatedly at the box office and his fan following will surely see that his film is a hit. Saawariya's director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has proved himself that he is a master in his art. So, I too feel that both films will succeed at the box office.

The battle between the Khan's has always created waves amongst cinegoers, so during the upcoming festival of lights the nation will see a lot of fireworks on screen.

Both the films are much awaited and the clash does look lethal. 9th November 2007, may prove to be one the biggest days for Bollywood where the box office may witness collections like never before.
