Kareena Kapoor will star in laughter riot Golmaal Returns (a sequel to Golmaal- Fun Unlimited). Kareena has signed three films deal with Production house Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision with reportedly Rs.6 Crores as her fee.
Kareena will work with the production house in the contracted projects till 2009. However, the deal doesn’t include Imtiaz Ali Directed untitled film for which Kareena had been shooting lately (co-staring Shahid Kapur), slated to release in October.
Producer Dhilin Mehta confirms her sequel hunt:
Yes, we have roped in Kareena for the sequel of Golmaal, which will be directed by Rohit Shetty.
The other Actors in the sequel comedy are Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor.
The movie will be shot in forty days schedule in Dubai. With this lucrative deal in her kitty, Kareena doesn’t lag behind beau Shahid Kapur, who had signed a deal with UTV earlier.
Kareena had earlier tried her versatility in various genres, including comedy, but an immensely projected Sequel to Golmaal will definitely cause all critics razor-sharp stare focused on her. Amidst all the expectations and comparisons, it would be interesting to see how she fares!
