Karan Johar has managed to sell ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna‘ (KANK) to distributors in Germany, France and Poland at the 59th Cannes Film Festival.
He revealed that other ‘non-traditional’ international centres are also eager to the much-awaited film.
Karan confessed that KANK is following K3G (’Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’) which was hugely popular as ‘La Famille Indien’ in France and hence selling the film is much easier for him.
Karan is so engrossed with the film that he feels that the movie has already released. The trailers of the film will be shown along with ‘Fanaa’ this week.
As a part of the publicity plan, a book on KANK was released in Cannes, which was more of an elaborate catalogue, mainly pictorial.
