Ashutosh Gowarikar’s much awaited project of the season won’t be hitting the theaters this year. In an official statement, the release date for the flick has been postponed to next year, January 25.
The audience will witness the coming together of the two leading stars of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai who play Akbar and Jodhaa in the flick, for the second time after ‘Dhoom 2′.
‘Jodhaa Akbar’ is a sixteenth century story about a marriage of alliance that gave birth to true love between Mughal emperor Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar, and the fiery young Rajput princess, Jodhaa.

The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.
As already known that because of Ash’s Hollywood project and Hrithik’s on the sets injuries the flick got unnecessarily delayed for a long time, but this time we hope that the flick reaches the theatres on time!
