Shilpa+Celebrity Big Brother controversy took a new turn. Today morning Shilpa withdrew an accusation that she was a victim of racism. And her housemates Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd also realized their mistake and both apologized to Bollywood actress in an effort to attempt reconciliation.
When Jade and Danielle found their career crumbling as a result of the alleged racism both of them in no time realized their fault and apologized to Shilpa.
Former Miss Great Britain Lloyd has been dumped from a lucrative modelling contract, believed to be worth six figures, as a consequence of the controversy.
Whereas, the Perfume Shop also decided to withdraw Goody’s best-selling perfume, Shh..., from its shelves because of the controversy, adding that it would review the position when Goody left the house.
Goody apologized saying,
I know that what has happened has not been nice for you... and a lot of stuff got said the other day from you and from myself. I didn’t say it in a racial way... I do not judge people by the color of their skin.
Shilpa replied,
I know that, I don’t think you’re racist. I really appreciate that you took the first step.
The pair then hugged and made up after giggling over how trivial the argument was.
And when housemates went to bed it was Lloyd’s turn to apologize, claimed she was ‘disgusted’ by her behaviour and admitted that she felt intimidated by Goody. This melted Shetty’s kind heart accepted Lloyd’s apology, saying
‘Give me a hug.’
The story has taken a sudden twist. And the reasons are very clear, Shilpa is being paid approximately Rs 300 crores, so changed her statement. And on the contrary Jade and Goody also apologized only for the sake of their career, that’s it.
