Indian cinema for Chinese movie buffs

This time Chinese movie aficionado's are all set to be entertained with Indian cinema.

Chinese Movie buffs hardly get any chance to witness Indian Movies at festivals so for them there is two week long treat.

In order to support the ongoing '2006 India-China Friendship Year.' 1 ten Indian regional languages films will be shown in Beijing and Shanghai

The film festival in Beijing will start from August 25 till 31 and event in Shanghai will will start from first week of September.

Films that will be shown in festival -

'Roja' and 'Anjali' (Tamil),

'Juye Poora Xoon, (Assamese),

'Entee Veedu Appoontem' (Malayalam),

'Shwaas' (Marathi),

'Dweepa' (Kannada), 'Show' (Telugu) ,

'Chokher Bali' (Bengali) ,

'Hum Dil De Chuke Hai Sanam'(Hindi),

and 'Dil Chahta Hai' (Hindi)
