Arshad Warsi, known for his hilarious role in the Munna Bhai series, commented that he was happy that people do not recognize him at first. Unlike his contemporaries, who like being in the limelight, Arshad prefers to keep an ‘ordinary’ profile when he is treading the streets. Arshad Warsi, who has been known for his roles in comedy movies like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Golmaal, Anthony Kaun Hai and Dhamaal, refuses to be categorized as a comedy film specialist. Denying the allegations of being a typecast, Arshad said that he has signed some movies which are not comedies.
Arshad said that he is only particular about the roles he gets, the genre doesn’t matter to him. Arshad has a horde of movies queued ahead for him. Some of these are Munna Bhai Chale Amerika, Crazy 4, Shortcut, Teen Patti and Golmaal returns.
Arshad is a person who loves his family and his Sundays and free time is devoted to his personal life and his family. Striking a balance between profession and personal life is a challenge with such hectic schedules. Arshad makes sure that he gives enough time to his kids and family.
Arshad is also known to be an excellent cook. He loves cooking and he can cook something out of anything. He chimes that he always wanted to be a hotelier rather than an actor. Ten years from now, Arshad sees himself to lead a peaceful life with his family. He concludes by saying, although I am passionate about my acting career, I am not over ambitious.
