Bollywood’s new sensation Ayesha Takia is all set to play the lead role in Nagesh Kukunoor’s supernatural thriller, Tasveer, the film that touts aloud to be an Indianized version of Manoj Night Shyamalan’s Oscar-nominated movie ‘The sixth Sense’.
Tasveer will be made under the banner of Percept Picture Company in which the story and the action will be altered to suit Indian tastes. Moreover, if we put some light on our hot and beautiful Ayesha, the actor is super-excited at the prospect to play Akshay Kumar’s wife in the movie that originally was played by Olivia Williams.
However, it is also worth mentioning that Ayesha was also proposed to play Kukunoor’s Aashayein but she dropped the offer because in one scene she was asked to kiss her co-star John Abraham.
Well, let’s see how long Ayesha will cope up with the industry standards and demands by sticking on her do’s and don’ts.

I love Ayesha for her acting skills... but to be very honest I’m more than sceptical about bollywood ”trying” to remake such a stunning film...
If they are casting a major actress like Ayesha in it, I’m sure they will try to make her role more meaningful i.e., extended in the film while the role of the kids mother or the shrink’s wife wasnt all that highlighted in comparison to the main leads...
I’m just hoping they dont hash it up and keep the sincerity of the original alive!!!
There’s no doubt about her prowess and her presence on Indian silver screen. She’s one of the most beautiful actresses and her smiling face would really keep on attracting directors and the viewers alike. Sore she would do justice with her role in upcoming remake.
