Highest tax payers include Bollywood top stars as well!

This year has marked our top Bollywood stars amid the highest tax payers. Kiladiyon Ka khiladi, Akshay Kumar has emerged as maximum tax payer of Bollywood who shells 26 crore as income tax.

But Bollywood's big shots like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan haven't filed their returns until now. Therefore, the figure for the highest taxpayer can be projected much higher.

If we put some light on last year income tax returns of our stars, Amitabh Bachchan paid a huge Rs 15.59 crore in taxes, Hrithik Roshan paid Rs 15.10 crore, Shah Rukh Khan shelled out Rs 14 crore, Akshay Kumar paid up Rs 6.60 crore, Kareena Kapoor Rs 2.9 crore and last but not the least John Abraham shelled out Rs 1.10 crore as taxes.

No doubt, Bollywood stars often goes against the law, for example Salman and Sanjay Dutt but it is worth mentioning that the ballpark of the tax figure paid by the top seven stars is Rs 100 crore, which will certainly boost our Income Tax Department.
