Gulzar gets poetic for Dus Kahaniya

It might be well described as the meeting of the titans. Ace poet Gulzar and producer par excellence, Sanjay Gupta, have joined forces for Gupta's short story bouquet called 'Dus Kahaniya'.The best thing is that you would not only get to hear what Gulzar writes but also hear him, since each story features in his voice. And the list of the actors is also quite long and 'starry'. For instance, Sanjay Dutt recites the poetic lines for 'Rise and Fall', in which he has acted. Similarly, Nana Patekar lends his voice to the poetry penned for 'Gubbare' in which he has acted. Another story has Naseer and Shabana coming together.

So, it seems Sanjay Gupta is all set to give us a visual treat with poetic sprinklings in soothing voices.

We all know that Gulzar's voice itself is sonorous enough for his poetry. But right at the beginning Gulzar insisted that the actors be roped in to recite the lines. Nice idea. We hope it clicks with the masses.
