After Chak De India now, Anil Kapoor's first independent flick as a producer, 'Gandhi My Father' is also nominated for the Oscar library.

The film has been invited to be part of the Oscar Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The script of the flick will become a part of the permanent script collection and actors, students, filmmakers and writers who are part of the regular patrons of the library will be solely permitted to access it.
However, the movie failed to rule the box office but by acquiring a place for itself in the Oscar library, it has given a reason to Anil to feel proud.
