Farhan Akhtar has bitten by the acting bug! This writer-director will soon debut as actor under his home production Excel entertainment. The film is being made under the title ‘Rock On‘ and hit the cinema halls around mid-2008.
If the buzz is to be believed, Prachi Desai, very popular among television viewers as Bani, has been signed as leading lady opposite him. Naturally, Prachi is in seventh heaven! When quizzed about her role, a thrilled Prachi said,
it is a great role and I am very excited about it.
‘Rock On’ will be directed by Abhisek Kapoor. Now it will be interesting to see if Farhan hits the bull’s eye this time too as he did with his directorial debut ‘Dil Chahta Hai’.
