Sanjay Dutt, a firm believer in God is now looking for divine intervention to bail him out of the legal hassles he has landed himself into. The Mumbai TADA court has announced Sanju Baba six years of rigourous imprisonment for possession of AK-56 rifles in connection with the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case. He is currently out on bail from the Supreme Court.
However, for how long he can remain free will be determined on the 24th of October,when Munnabhai will have to surrender himself before the TADA court.
As a small succour granted to Dutt by the gods, Sanju Baba got four days relief as the special TADA court has rescheduled dates to summon the convicts. Instead of the earlier date of 20th October, the new date is fixed at 24th of this month. So, Sanju Baba has some more days to appease the gods.
As the Navratri has started, Sanjay Dutt to seek the blessings of the Mata had organized a Mata ki chowki at his residence at Imperial Heights, Pali Hill on 17th October in the evening. According to Dutt he observes the 9 days of Navratri very religiously, abstaining from non-vegetarian food. Whether, the Mata will heed to his prayer only time will tell.
Since, being out of jail on bail, Sanju Baba has been on pilgrimage through out the length and breadth of the country. He visited the Vaishnodevi in the north, Tirupati in the south, Dagdusheth in Pune, Karni Mata Temple (popularly called the rat temple in Pushkar. He was always escorted by his beloved Manyata in his pilgrimage.
To see whether the gods intervene or not we have to wait till the 24th of this month, by then the copy of TADA court judgment will be ready.
