The new Sameer Karnik project ‘Roshan’ brings together the rising Kangana Ranaut with her ‘Shakalaka Boom Boom’ co- actor Bobby Deol. To be produced by Eros Entertainment, the movie’s cinematography will be done by the incomparable Binod Pradhan. Reportedly, Kangana along with her team returned back from their outdoor shooting location at Manali, Himachal Pradesh, without shooting a single frame due to the heavy rains.
Kangana was very exited while setting-off for the shoot as this beautiful actor hails from the equally beautiful Himachal. But her joy was ruined by the heavy downpour.
A dismayed Kangana bemoaned:
We had gone to picturise songs for the film. We’d rush out as soon as the rain stopped. But, as soon as the camera was set up we’d rush back into the tent. I must have lost at least four kilos just running back and forth.
As soon as the director decided to turn the song into a rain number, the torrential rains then decided to turn into a drizzle, making the rushes look like scratches on the camera lens. The shooting location has now been shifted to Mauritius, while the unit prays for kind rain gods there.
Though the director had to pack bags and return dispirited, but for kangana it was coming home. I am sure she must have relived her childhood memories of the state she belongs to!
