King of comedy, Priya Darshan has again tickled the funny nerve of viewers with his new flick DHOL. But it is noteworthy that this time apart from regular funny elements crime, murder and suspense is also woven in the story.
Review:
The story si about four wakos (Yadav Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Sharman Joshi and Rajpal Yadav).They try to become wealthy by marrying a rich girl. Just then enters the rich girl Kanchan (Tanushree Dutta). And four of them try to plot their individual tricks to marry her but they land up in deep mess of confusion, twists, turns, murder, comedy and thrill. In addition, over and over again comic scenes dominate the thrill proportion.
The film is full of unsurprising scenes. In Post-interval, the film takes a serious turn. I think Rajpal Yadav did an apt justice with his role in contrast to rest of the three actors by portraying quite different acting skills in terms of style and comedy.
There are only four songs in the movie. The title track is appealing. Other songs are okay and Bheega Aasman is a good number.
Actors Presentation:
In the acting department almost all the actors have done well especially Rajpal Yadav. His acting was quite funny and different from other actor.
This little chap has stolen the flick in many scenes. In addition, some scenes in the movie are remarkably funny particularly, Pooja’s office scene with Ompuri and Rajpal. The other actors Sharman and Kunal has also done very well. Tusshar is good too.
Tanushree and Payal can be rated as average in acting skills but Ompuri, Asrani, Tinku Talsania too have played their characters well.
Final Verdict:
However, Dhol is a remake of the hit Malayalam film but it is worth watching. Sure it has its moments, and there are many moments that you will remember when you will walk out of the theatre.
The movie is positively a joyride and heartful of laugh is guaranteed. I think at box office this movie will be a success.
