Deepika Padukone, even before her debut release ‘OM Shanti Om,’ has already become Bollywood’s hot property. According to the latest buzz, this former successful model has now been signed by the Roshans for the sequel of ‘Krrish’, titled ‘Krrish 2′. After her debut film opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand’s next for Yash Raj Films, this would be Deepika’s third big banner project in the row. While the Roshans are remaining tightlipped about this casting coup.
Having shot her career with such famous and successful banners, Deepika is swiftly on her way to being the next big thing in Bollywood. This new comer would star opposite Hrithik Roshan after Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra in Krrish’s sequel. Deepika’s news about bagging this project without having proved her acting skills comes as a surprise to all.
A source says:
It is confirmed that Deepika Padukone has been finalised for Krrish’s sequel opposite Hrithik. Though the Roshans are still working on their script, it’s decided that the film will be shot extensively in foreign locations.
According to a source the Roshans decided to go for a fresh face to dazzle opposite Hrithik this time, as Priyanka’s acting and clothes were highly criticized in ‘Krrish’, while Preity couldn’t be accommodated in the script. Deepika refused to comment and says:
I haven’t received confirmation from the Roshans yet.
With Deepika’s plate full of projects with big banners already, this current project will surely help her to create a mark in Bollywood industry!
