Dargah scene stays in 'Namaste London'

The controversial Dargah scene in 'Namaste London' would stay. The controversy surrounding Katarina Kaif' wearing a skirt at Khwaja Moinudeen Chishti's shrine has failed to do compel the makers of the movie to do away with the scene. The film, therefore, will be released with the original scene.

Film's director Vipul Shah said:

Now there is no controversy over actress Katrina wearing a skirt and the film will have the original scene of Katrina offering prayers at the dargah.

He further informed:

I have published a written apology and there is no hullabaloo over it now.

The controversy erupted when Katrina shot at the shrine in a long skirt. Her head was covered with a 'dupatta' but her legs were not fully covered. This made the dargah committee members object. Even some of the devotees found it objectionable.

However, after the apologies from the director, the controversy seems to have settled and the film will now be released with the scene in it.
