Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor’s breakup seems to be the most happening gossip of the town. After the duo accepting the end of their relation rumours and gossip mongers have not given up delving into the why’s of the breakup. The news is that Shahid’s alleged closeness with Vidya Balan was the reason the showdown finally hit its ultimatum.
The sources close to the couple said that Shahid and Kareena’s relation saw its end earlier in June itself and the final nail to the coffin was Shahid’s link ups with actress and co star Vidya Balan in ‘Kismet Connections’. For all those who kept contemplating who started it all off and who has the final word, sources reveal that Shahid ended up things because things were growing ugly between the two. The distance between the two which was created due to Kareena’s shoot at Ladakh for upcoming movie Tashan reinforced their different paths of life.
But news has it that Kareena, fondly known as Bebo was in two minds about parting ways but eventually took a call after observing the increasing closeness between Shahid and Vidya. The immediate news about Saif Ali Khan being the next man in Kareena’s life made her accept the fact that Saif stood by her throughout and provided the actress with a lot of emotional support. Since Saif’s declaration about the couple in love sorts one can just hope it is not a rebound for Kareena.
It was during the time spent together for shooting of Tashan in Kerela and Jaisalmer that Kareena grew closer to Saif and distant from Shahid. Though the two of them were mum about the breakups eventually they did give up on the hide out and false acts and accepted publicly that the once upon a time couple in love were going separate ways. Though the reasons of their breakups have not been known for a fact, Vidya Balan’s closeness seems to be the only reason to hit the roof as of now. But for the budding star Shahid his words says it all,
It will be dishonest to say that this doesn’t affect me. I am human, it hurts but I hold nothing against anybody. I’ll cherish the good memories of that relationship and move on. That’s what I’m doing - looking at the positive side and trying to be happy.

The tests of celebrity couple’s relations depend on how well they withstand these kinds of testing times and salvage their relations, which unfortunately Shahid and Kareena could not succeed in.
