Bollywood Joins Hands with BBC for AIDS Awareness Television Show

Bollywood Stars came forward to join hands woth BBC in Spreading awareness about HIV-AIDS in India via a reality show. Doordarshan and India's NACO (National AIDS Control Organization) are partners of BBC World Service Trust in this project.

There are more than five million people in India at present who are living with AIDS and this show named Haath Se Haath Milao, will feature a Bollywood Star joining hands with a achiver whose work includes spreading awareness about the diseases.

Shilpa Shetty, who starred in Phir Milenge a movie which had the similar aims to this venture, has shot for the series. Actor Vivek Oberoi, Actress Raveena Tandon and Dia Mirrza have also filmed for the project and many other stars are eager to be a part of it which includes Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, John and many more.

It a wise decision to make celebrities a part of this show as they are the one's Indians pays attention to.
